Return Policy


Returns – defective products

Defective products may be returned in exchange for an identical or equivalent product only. Distribution de Pièces d’Autos Rive-Sud (DPARS) will ship the replacement product only once the defective product has been received and evaluated. If Distribution de Pièces d’Autos Rive-Sud (DPARS) deems that the product is not defective or if the product return is refused for any reason, the client is responsible for all costs incurred.

Returns – products and cancelled orders

Standard product orders (non-defective) may be returned or cancelled, certain conditions apply.

The product must be in its original packaging and must not have been used, modified or installed; no exceptions. The client must obtain a Return Authorisation number from a DPARS representative/consultant within 10 days following the reception date of the shipment. The client must then return the product to Distribution de Pièces d’Autos Rive-Sud (DPARS) within 10 days following receipt of the authorisation number. Only the original buyer may submit a return request. The client is responsible for all transport charges as well as restocking charges; equal to 20% of the purchase amount. Products returned with a Return Authorisation number will be credited within 15 to 30 days following receipt of the merchandise.

Special orders

All orders, including special orders, are invoiced upon transaction completion (see “Transaction completed”). Distribution de Pièces d’Autos Rive-Sud (DPARS) may not be held responsible for shipping delays of any kind. All delivery dates provided are approximate and in no way constitute a promise of delivery upon said dates. No discount, return, or any other form of compensation will be provided to any client for late deliveries or for deliveries on a date other than the one estimated at the time of order. Special orders may not be returned or cancelled under any circumstances.
