FAQs

What methods of payment are accepted?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express payments only.

Do you accept cheques and other payment methods?
No. Only Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards are accepted.

Lead times
Delivery lead times vary depending on the shipping destination for the merchandise. Please contact us if you have any question about delivery lead times for your order.

What shipping methods are used?
Unless otherwise stipulated, all products purchased via our online store are delivered by DHL Transport.


Can my order be shipped via my preferred shipping service?
Yes: Simply enter the name of your shipping company along with the number for your account with this company in the “Delivery Options” section.

What do I do if I receive a damaged parcel?
We recommend that you refuse delivery for any parcel/package damaged during transport: it is your responsibility to inspect all merchandise parcels and packaging for damage prior to accepting delivery. If, for some reason, a damaged parcel is delivered without your consent prior to being inspected, please call us immediately. We will gladly help you process your claim.

What do I do if a package is lost?
In the event a package is lost during shipment, you must contact the transport company in question and/or a member of the Distribution de Pièces d’Autos Rive-Sud (DPARS) team to report it. Please have your complete coordinates and waybill number (sent by email when you placed your order) on hand when you call as we will need this information to search for the package.

Can a transaction be cancelled?
It is possible to cancel a transaction, add or remove items from your cart, or exit the online store without processing the order right up to the point when you submit your credit card information. Once your credit card information has been submitted, it is no longer possible to cancel the transaction.

Is it possible to return an undamaged product or cancel an order?
There are two answers to this question, depending on the type of order:

YES: The product must be in its original packaging and must not have been used, modified or installed; no exceptions. The client must obtain a Return Authorisation number from a DPARS representative/consultant within 10 days following the reception date of the shipment. The client must then return the product to Distribution de Pièces d’Autos Rive-Sud (DPARS) within 10 days following receipt of the authorisation number. Only the original buyer may submit a return request. The client is responsible for all transport charges as well as restocking charges; equal to 20% of the purchase amount. Products returned with a Return Authorisation number will be credited within 15 to 30 days following receipt of the merchandise.

NO: Special orders may not be returned or cancelled.

What Province are the products shipped from?
All products are shipped from the Province of Québec, Canada.

Where are purchased products shipped?
For the time being, products may be shipped within Canada only.

Are there any customs charges, taxes or other hidden costs?
There are no customs charges for purchases made within Canada, as the products are already in Canada.

Québec based clients must pay GST and QST. Clients in other Canadian provinces must pay GST or HST as required. Taxes are applied on products as well as on shipping charges. We are in no way responsible for sales into regions and territories where you are asked to declare your purchases and pay the resulting taxes voluntarily.

Hazardous materials
When ordering products deemed “Hazardous Materials” by the transport company, a $15 surcharge will automatically be added to the shipping charges. This amount is only added once per shipment regardless of the number of hazardous material items on your order: if, for example, you order two hazardous material products, the $15 surcharge will only be applied once. As such, you might want to consider consolidating your hazardous material products on a single order. A special indication identifies the “hazardous material” products available through our online store.

When you place your order, the total cost of transport - including the “hazardous material” surcharge (if applicable) - is displayed.

Which currency is used in the online store?
All amounts listed on the site are in Canadian Dollars ($CAD).

Are purchases on your site secure? Yes: During the transaction process, your credit card information is encrypted (using an SSL: Secure Socket Layer encryption protocol), making it impossible to read by anyone other than the person with the encryption key.

 

 

Distribution de Pièces d’Autos Rive-Sud (DPARS) reserves the right to change the products and/or prices listed on its Website without notice. DPARS is the exclusive distributor of ColorRite motorcycle paints in Canada. All prices indicated on this site are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
